1 - Call four friends. Invite them out for coffee or maybe a light dinner.
2 - Have each of those friends invite one of their friends. So you end up with seven or eight people.
3 - Only include people you know fairly well. Strangers and money rarely mix.
4 - The topic of conversation around this first dinner is to create a common list of the ten financial things you wish you could change. Start with individual lists. Then combine lists to end up with ten questions you all feel strongly about. These ten questions will form the first year of meetings - solve ten tough financial challenges and you'll be on your way to achieving your goals and being better off.
5 - Be reasonable - you can't just wish for a lottery win or a new job with lots of pay increases. This should be fun - but it has a serious side too.
6 - Agree to meet once per month, or every other month at one of your homes or other locations of your choice. Using your list of questions, base each group meeting on one of those questions.
